Landing sets September schedule

September is a busy month at the Jacksonville Landing. Between college and NFL football games, concerts and eating contests, there’s is something going on almost every day. And, things get started Saturday with live entertainment just about all day.

The following is a full schedule for the month:

Saturday

• Live entertainment in the courtyard: George Aspinal, noon-

4 p.m., Hipp Street from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. and Freeze Frame from 9:30 p.m.–2 a.m.

• Krystal Square Off qualifying competition: 6-11 p.m. Register on-site to compete in a two-minute Krystal burger eating contest. Enter to win a chance to compete in the world championship.

Sunday

• Krystal Square Off qualifying competition: Noon-8 p.m.

• Live entertainment in the courtyard: Sugar Bear from 4-9 p.m. and A1A North from 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m.

Monday

• Krystal Square Off qualifying finals: 3 p.m. Winners from the weekend’s events will compete in an eight-minute Krystal burger eating contest. The winner of Monday’s finals will go on to compete in the world championship.

• Live entertainment in the courtyard: Wild Card 5-9 p.m.

Wednesday

• Art Walk with live entertainment by Teddy Washington 5-9 p.m.

Sept. 7

• The Gator Country Fall Concert Series presented by Engle Homes, 8 p.m. Featuring live, free performances by national country recording artists Steve Holy and Danielle Peck. Ruckus plays after until 2 a.m.

Sept. 8

• Live entertainment in the courtyard: George Aspinal, noon-4 p.m.

Bay Street Band, 5-9 p.m. and Go Ask Alice, 9:30 p.m.–2 a.m.

Sept. 9

• Jaguars home game party:1010 XL pre-game show, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and live entertainment in the courtyard after the game with The Tropics, 4:30-9 p.m. The Landing will open at 10 a.m.

Sept. 14

• The Gator Country Fall Concert Series presented by Engle Homes, 8 p.m. Live, free performances by national country recording artists David Lee Murphy and Whiskey Falls. Southern Ruckus plays after until 2 a.m.

Sept. 15

• Live entertainment in the courtyard with George Aspinal, Noon-4 p.m. Chain of Fools, 5-9 p.m. and Jay Garrett Band, 9:30–2 a.m.

Sept. 16

• Jaguars home game party: 1010XL pre-game show, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and live entertainment in the courtyard after the game with Sugar Bear, 4:30-9 p.m.

Sept. 21

• The Gator Country Fall Concert Series presented by Engle Homes at 8 p.m. featuring live, free performances by national country recording artists Chris Cagle and Crossin Dixon.

Sept. 22

• 1st Coast Car Council’s Annual Rollin’ On The River – Mega Car Show, 9 a.m.–3 p.m.

• Live entertainment in the courtyard: Radio 80, noon-4 p.m.,

Str8up, 5-9 p.m. and Lisa and the Mad Hatters, 9:30 p.m.–2 a.m.

Sept. 23

• Live entertainment in the courtyard: Feel the Love, 4-9 p.m.

Sept. 28

• Florida State/Alabama celebration with live entertainment in courtyard: Bay Street Band, 5-9 p.m. and Mystery Band, 9:30 p.m.–2 a.m.

Sept. 29

• Florida State/Alabama celebration continues with live entertainment in the courtyard: with George Aspinal, noon-4 p.m., Sugar Bear, 5-9 p.m. and Blistur, 9:30 p.m.–2 a.m.

Sept. 30

• Live Entertainment in the courtyard: The Tropics, 4-9 p.m.
