Daniel files for Circuit Judgeship

Jim Daniel, attorney at Coker Schickel Sorenson & Daniel, officially began his run at the Clay County Circuit Judge seat currently held by the retiring Fred Buttner by filing at the Supervisor of Elections office on Friday. Daniel, an attorney in Jacksonville for more than 15 years, said seeking a judgeship is something he’s always wanted to do and feels he’s at the perfect time in his practice to run. “I think I have something to offer the bench and the bar here in Northeast Florida,” he said.
