The halls are alive with the sound of music

The sounds of horns, cymbals and snare drums filled the atrium at City Hall on Monday, as the University Christian School band entertained workers and visitors with several holiday tunes. The performance was the first of many scheduled to take place in the atrium throughout the week, including: Old Plank Christian Academy on Tuesday; Jacksonville Symphony String Quartet, Paxon High Honors Chorus and Symphony Brass Ensemble on Wednesday; Symphony String Duet, Paxon High Honors Chorus and violinist Beverly Chapman on Thursday; and Paxon High Symphonic Band and violinist Ann Witherspoon-Favors on Friday.
