Construction has commenced on the $5 million amenities for Rolling Hills at Lake Asbury, East West Partners’ 562-acre master planned community in Clay County. Michael G. Holder, Inc. is the general contractor.
Slated for a 2008 opening, the amenity center – designed by Basham & Lucas Design Group – will include a two-story residents club with a leisure room, kitchen, an Internet center and an activity room. The first floor connects to a “super” pool with slide and a splash pool with an interactive water feature.
Other facilities include a fitness center, kids’ club, garden golf (miniature golf) with a winding river, an outdoor party pavilion, six tennis courts and an outdoor amphitheater lawn with a pavilion for weekly movies on the green.
