The Jacksonville Chapter of the national organization Pilots for Kids chose the kids of Hubbard House to bring a little holiday cheer to. Ten members of the local chapter, led by Capt. Pam Mitchell-Almand of Northwest Airlines (back row, center), treated the kids to presents. The membership of Pilots for Kids consists of major, national and regional airline crew members, corporate, military and private pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Their primary activity is visiting children’s hospitals and brining toys and other needed items.

Joining Mitchell-Almand were: (from left, kneeling) Rick Phelps (United), Jeannette Newman (United flight attendant), Jeff Sallmen (Astar Air Cargo), Sid Malonson (United) and Rob Bartlett (Airborne); (back row) Sharon O’Malley (Northwest flight attendant), Santa (Steve Sullivan, Northwest), Bob Lowenthal (Northwest) and Kevin Havicksbeck (Delta).
