Scott Stuckey, the general manager of the Downtown Omni Hotel, dressed in Mardi Gras attire, speaks to employees and guests in the hotel ballroom on Tuesday to honor their employees for their service. Also at the ceremony, the hotel was awarded 4-Diamond status from the American Automobile Association (AAA) for 2007, its second consecutive year receiving the rating. According to AAA District Manager Arddy Farrell, 3 percent of the hotels get AAA’s 4-Diamond rating, which is based on criteria including hospitality, service and attention to guests.
