The event will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and will feature 15 booths showcasing recipes for desserts, appetizers, entrees and a chocolate fountain – all concocted by prominent locals. • Violinist Tom Chiu and Vocalist Joan LaBarbara have rescheduled their performance at the University of North Florida for March 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lazzara Performance Hall. Due to severe weather in the Northeast that caused their flight to be canceled, their Feb. 15 performance at the school was canceled. • Chief Judge Don Moran has been unanimously elected to serve another term as Chief Judge for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. His two-year term will officially begin July 1. Moran has been Chief Judge since July of 1991.
• The celebrations for winning elections usually come after the elections, but not for Stephen Joost, who’s already won the City Council At-large Group 3 seat by virtue of not having an opponent. It’s March 8 in the banquet hall of the Jacksonville Firefighters Association.
