Golf tournament nets $378,681

The Monique Burr Foundation for Children came away $378,681 richer last month after its annual golf tournament at South Hampton.

Thirty area and Tour pros participated in the pro-am format.

Co-chairs were M.G. Orender of Hampton Golf and Bobby Castranova, president of the co-sponsoring Zurich Insurance Services.

Tour pros Fred Funk and Mark McCumber were the tournament hosts.

The overall team winners:

Gross winners: Pro Bubba Dickerson and amateurs Bill Griglock, Mike Vaught, Bill Choate and Thomas Riley.

Gross runners-up: Pro Bobby Clampett and amateurs Rick Law, Brandon Hickey, Steve LoRusso and Roger Hackett.

Net winners: Pro Fred Funk and amateurs Dave Auchter, Brad Glass, Chuck Diebel and Paul Robins.

Net runners-up: Pro Len Mattiace and amateurs Charlie Tomm, Tony Boselli, David Council and Jerry Daniels.
