Groundbreaking celebration for Old San Jose project

Last Friday a handful of business people broke ground on the Old San Jose project in Jacksonville’s Lakewood. Those in attendance were Father Al Esposito of San Jose Catholic Church, Barry Allred of Elkins Constructors, Kevin Sullivan of Looney Ricks Kiss Architects, Scott Parker of Elkins Constructors, Project Manager Jim Citrano Jr., John Doerer of John Doerer Construction, Jacksonville City Councilman Jay Jabour, developer Jay McGarvey of McGarvey Residential Communities, Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton and Susan Beaugrand of Wachovia. Peyton also took the opportunity to introduce City Council member Jay Jabour, At-Large Group 2 to those in attendance, because this is in his area.
