The 11th Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the circuit bench created by the resignation of Judge Cristina Pereyra-Shuminer.
Applicants must be registered voters, members in good standing of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years, and reside in the 11th Circuit upon assuming office.
Applications may be obtained from the Bar’s Web site at www.floridabar.org. The use of a photograph is encouraged. Those who submitted an application for other judicial positions within the past 90 days only need to submit a letter of intent with any updates.
An original and 10 copies of the completed application must be delivered to Marie F.S. Bell, JNC Chair, 3225 Aviation Avenue, Suite 501, Miami 33133 no later than 5 p.m. Thursday.
