Pelican Bay Development, a Naples-based developer of retail and office projects throughout the state, has opened an office in Jacksonville.
Jim Nashman, the president of Pelican Bay Development,said he appointed Mike Williamson to start the firm’s Jacksonville office. Williamson, a graduate of the University of Florida, has more than 10 years of experience in commercial property development, including six years as a developer of anchor retail facilities.
Williamson will oversee the firm’s anchor retail development efforts throughout Central or Northern Florida. Nashman said Pelican Bay is looking for expansion locations in the greater Tampa Bay and Lakeland regions as well. The company further expanded with their office in Orlando last year.
