Florida Bar Speakers Bureau addresses admiralty and maritime law and estate planning

The Florida Bar Speakers Bureau provides volunteer attorney speakers for senior citizen, professional, civic, community, social and cultural organizations throughout Florida, at no cost to your organization.

Among the more than 1,300 speaker volunteers are attorneys who have experience in admiralty and maritime law and estate planning. Admiralty and maritime law topics can include: marinas; cruise lines; salvage; natural resource damage; charters; collision; carriage of goods; maritime liens; marine insurance; exculpatory agreements; towage; the Jones Act; the Admiralty Extension Act; the Longshoreman and Harbor Workers’ Act; recreational boating and destruction of cargo. Estate planning encompasses: living trusts; bankruptcy; risk management; asset protection and asset preservation.
