Mayor John Peyton signed several proclamations Tuesday. He was joined above by Pat Welte, City 9-1-1 coordinator; Pam Williams of the Independent Living Resource Center; Dr. John Trifiletti, computer information systems instructional program manager at Florida Community College at Jacksonville; and Matthew Motko from the Independent Living Resource center for the ceremony designating July 13 “Emergency Preparedness for People with Disabilities Day.” First Coast Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors Day will be recognized Aug. 3. Peyton also signed proclamations that recognized Gate River Run Week in March, Volunteer Appreciation Month in April and Stuttering Awareness Week as well as National Association of Insurance Women Week in May.
