The ERA Fernandina Beach Realty office has been in business for 35 years and has been at 2057 S. Fletcher Ave. for the last 10.
There are nine agents in the office, which also has a vacation and long-term rental division. ERA Fernandina Beach Realty has two other offices, one in Yulee and one in Callahan, giving it a total of 18 agents. The broker is Steve Simmons and the office manager is Kim Lynch.
Lynch said things are definitely picking up.
“Last year we had a slowdown but when this spring hit we saw more appointments happening and now more contracts,” said Lynch. “First you see more appointments, then more contracts and then more closings. The closer to summer we get, the busier we get.”
Last year, the office was No. 1 in the ERA Broker’s Council and for the past three years has been in the top 200 offices in ERA Worldwide.
