For the past four years, Madame T Productions has occupied a studio on the second floor of the Elk’s Building at the corner of Laura and Adams streets. A couple of weeks ago, owner Tracie Hutchins decided to give Downtown Vision, Inc.’s Friday Farmers’ Market a try. Hutchins said she thought it might be a way to expand her market, even though she wasn’t sure that custom-designed, one-of-a-kind stationery, announcements and note cards would fit in with the fresh fruits and vegetables, jewelry, hanging baskets and food vendors.

“It has really worked out well,” Hutchins said last Friday. “It’s huge to be able to introduce our products to the public, especially since I can do it on a pretty day like today.”
