For Kim Peavler, every day is a dog day, a hot dog day, that is. Peavler sells hot dogs and sausage dogs and all the sides in Hemming Plaza at the corner of Laura and Duval streets. The recent good weather has been good for business, but not as good as when the Main Library was being built. Peavler said she expects business to pick up again thanks to the construction at the old Haverty’s building, which the Police and Fire Pension Fund is remodeling into a new City Hall Annex.
