Centex Homes’ North Florida Division collectively received 16 awards at this year’s Northeast Florida Builders Association’s 13th Annual Laurel Awards. The recently held program was themed Passion/Desire.

“The theme said it all,” said Carl Holman, operational marketing manager for Centex Homes’ North Florida Division. “So much of what we do in the industry comes from a true passion for the work we do and the people we serve and it’s always wonderful to be recognized for the hard work and strategy that goes into each day. Of course we’re very happy with the recognitions we received, but we also want to congratulate our fellow industry winners.”

The evening began with Centex winning an architectural design award for The Savannah at Amberwood at Fleming Island Plantation - Best Multifamily Architectural Design Under $249,000.

In addition, Centex received two awards in the Best Advertising, Marketing and Media category. MiraVista at Harbortown received recognition for The Best Direct Mail piece designed by The Robin Shepherd Group and Best Marketing Video was awarded for the Jennings Point at OakLeaf Plantation promotional video created by Imagenius and The Robin Shepherd Group.

Carl Holman, Operational Marketing Manager, received the prestigious recognition of Marketing Director of the Year.

“Although this award honors individual achievement, it really is shared with my co-workers,” said Holman. “Getting to work with this team and everyone at Centex is reward enough.”

Joining Holman in the top ranking individual awards category, Ben Bauzon was awarded the individual Top Producer for a builder – detached homes.  Throughout his 16 years with Centex Homes, Bauzon has experienced many professional achievements including Rookie of the Year in 1993, three-time Agent of the Year for Centex Homes and Laurel Award Top Producer of the Year in 1995.
