The W.G. Pitts Co. was honored for its St. Johns Forest work as best in Florida construction in the Association of General Contractors’ Horizon Award for 2007.

“Our team did an outstanding job creating a premier family neighborhood unlike any other,” said St. Johns Forest Project Manager Melinda Oklok.  “W.G. Pitts helped us bring to life an exceptional development that demonstrates high design and meticulous attention to detail.”

W.G. Pitts constructed the community’s amenity center, the neighborhood’s physical and recreational centerpiece, and all of the features surrounding it. The company also built the neighborhood’s main entrance fountains and guardhouse.

St. Johns Forest has received numerous honors, including two Grand Aurora Awards for Best Recreational Facility and Interior Merchandising for Clubhouse/Amenity Center from the Florida Home Builders Association and the Southeast Building Conference and the Best in American Living Award (BALA) for the Amenity Center from the National Association of Home Builders and Professional Builder magazine.
