Applications are now being accepted to fill the position of United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida.

Box 4956, Orlando 32802-4956, telephone (407) 423-3200, e-mail [email protected] and from the Web page of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida at www.flmd.uscourts.gov. The completed applications must be mailed (and postmarked) to the commission’s chair and all its members by June 15.
The United States Attorney for the Middle District of Florida is the chief federal law enforcement officer for the district. The United States Attorney enforces the federal criminal laws in the Middle District of Florida in the United States courts, represents agencies of the United States in civil cases, and argues on behalf of the United States to the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
The district includes 35 of the 67 counties in the state of Florida and extends from the Florida-Georgia border near Jacksonville to the southern most boundary of Naples. The headquarters for the United States Attorney’s Office is located in Tampa and there are staffed branch offices in Jacksonville, Orlando, and Ft. Myers.
