At age 94, Harold Harper is the oldest veteran living in Duval County and he led the way for Jacksonville’s annual Veterans Day Parade Monday morning. Harper joined the Army in 1943 and fought in France, Germany and Austria with the 232nd Field Artillery Battalion, 42nd Infantry Division.
