Smith Hulsey & Busey hire three new associates

The law firm of Smith Hulsey & Busey has hired three new attorneys. Annika Wallace joined the corporate department, Julia Herron joined the environmental department and Tara Zimmerman joined the litigation department.

Wallace, a Jacksonville native, received three degrees from the University of Florida — a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics, her Juris Doctor degree in 2005 and a Master of Science in Finance last year. Her practice includes mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing and private placements.

Herron received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and Policy from Duke University in 2000 and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida this year. Herron’s practice includes compliance with federal, state and local environmental laws.

Zimmerman earned her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Penn State University in 1998 and her Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law in 2003. Before joining Smith, Hulsey & Busey, Zimmerman practiced law in Pennsylvania, where she was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2003. Zimmerman’s practice includes litigation, mediation and arbitration in the resolution of complex commercial disputes.
