After Thursday’s Jacksonville Bar Association luncheon, Florida Bar President Francisco Angones stopped by the Hispanic Bar Association of Northeast Florida’s meeting.
Angones is a native of Cuba and has been a resident of South Florida since 1961. He was in Jacksonville for the day to speak at the Bar luncheon, meet with colleagues and attend a naturalization ceremony.
At the Hispanic Bar Association’s meeting, new board members were sworn in. It has been four years since the association was founded. The association has about 40 members.
The new board members are:
• President — Ada Hammond of Johnston & Hammond
• Vice President of Membership — Arthur Hernandez of Arthur Hernandez, P.A.
• Immediate Past-President — Phillip Buhler of Moseley, Pritchard, Parrish, Knight & Jones
• Secretary — Cristina Fuschi of the Law Offices of Christina Fuschi, P.L.
• Treasurer — Patricia Parker of Parker & DuFresne, P.A.
