Jacksonville City Hall isn’t just home to the city’s government, it’s now also home to an entire city — the City of Boxenville. Nearly 500 students and teachers at Pine Forest Elementary School of the Arts worked with Jacksonville architects from the American Institute of Architects to design and create a city using materials like cardboard boxes, construction paper, markers and glue. The city, based loosely on Jacksonville, will be set up in the City Hall atrium for the next week and may move to the old city Library near Ocean Street as a stop for November’s Art Walk.
