Big Brothers Big Sisters elects new board members, officers

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida elected four new members to its Board of Directors and elected new officers for its 2007-08 fiscal year.

Joining Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida Board are: Scott Baker, CEO of Paul Davis Restoration, Inc.; Richard Brock, CEO of LBA Certified Public Accountants, P.A.; Robert Hill, president and COO of Acosta, Inc.; and Paul Tyler, president of the Commercial Group.

Officers for the 2007-08 fiscal year are: Chairman Tom Dearing, office managing shareholder for Fowler, White, Boggs, Banker P.A.; Vice Chairman Bob Cole, Esq., Cole Stone Stoudemire Morgan; Treasurer Richard Brock, CEO of LBA Certified Public Accountants, P.A.; and Secretary Shaelyn Haag, judicial staff attorney for Duval County.

“We are very pleased to have these new members join our four Board of Directors,” said Warren Grymes, CEO. “Each is dedicated to assisting BBS realize our vision of serving 5,500 by our 100th anniversary, which occurs in 2014.”
