• According to the latest Florida Trend magazine, the per capita income in Duval County is third in Northeast Florida at $38,235. St. Johns County is tops at $45,141, while Nassau County is second at $40,064. The magazine also charted population projections through the year 2012, and Jacksonville is expected to grow from zero to 3 percent, while Clay County is looking at more than 10 percent.

• The U.S. Army Reserve turns 100 years old in April, and the Jacksonville command is holding a celebration Wednesday at the Robert Milan Reserve Center, 31 Pecan St. The event will include military displays, food, children activities and community outreach programs. • According to the folks at the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission’s Sports & Entertainment Board, there are a few tickets remaining for tonight’s University of Florida vs. Florida State game at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Last year, 12,280 fans filled the park and were part of the largest crowd in Florida history for a college baseball game. Tickets for this year’s game, which starts at 7 p.m., are $8.50–$16.50 and are available at Ticketmaster outlets.

• The Mayor’s Environmental Luncheon was moved from May to June, so the deadline for nominations for the annual Keep Jacksonville Beautiful Awards has also been changed. You have until April 15 to nominate an individual, organization or school for making an effort to keep the City clean and green. Applicants will be judged in the areas of beautification, litter prevention and litter cleanup. Applications are available at www.coj.net, keywords: Keep Jacksonville Beautiful.

• Windows and Blessings Dry Cleaners on East Bay Street has closed. No word why, but there is a “for rent” sign in the window.

• Jaguars special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis is moonlighting as a waiter this summer — but only for one day. DeCamillis is chair of the annual Morton’s Medicine & Miracles Celebrity Waiters event at Morton’s The Steakhouse on June 3. DeCamillis is also recruiting others to wait tables, including Mayor John Peyton.
