Artist Joanelle Mulrain poses with her son Jeffry in front of her painting “Cattails IV Lochloosa,” which was featured on the March 2007 cover of the Florida Bar Magazine. Joanelle has paintings, photographs and her audio book “Re-Rooting: Life’s Journey” at her new Great Blue Heron Studios in the Greenleaf building at 212 Laura St. near Hemming Plaza. A giclee of the painting is a part of the permanent art collection of the Florida Senate in honor of her departed husband Attorney Jeffrey Mulrain. She is a native of Jacksonville who was vice president for corporate communications for about 20 years with what was known as the Baptist/St. Vincent’s Health System.
