City Council member Daniel Davis was “purchased” at the Northeast Florida Builders Association luncheon last week. To raise money for daniel Memorial, Davis (eighth from left) put four hours of his time up for bid. While there were restrictions as to what he would do in the time, the gavel dropped at $2,800. Davis, who is the executive director of NEFBA, was bought by a group of 28 individuals who put up $100 each. There is talk there will be a party around Valentine’s Day so Davis can come as a certain bow-carrying icon of said holiday.
