The Northeast Florida Builders Association has had a tough year, but if Glenn Layton, the incoming president has anything to do with it (and he will) they are not going to lay down and take it.
Layton entered NEFBA’s Sales and Marketing Council meeting last month dressed up in boxing attire and jabbing and punching to the theme of “Rocky.”
“This has really been a tough year,” said Layton. “There have been a lot of fights. If it wasn’t for our current leader, Mark Downing, we would not be in as good of a position as we are in today. Downing has continued to fight and continued to throw punches. Our philosophy for the next year is to do the same thing. We are going to continue to fight. Never count NEFBA out. I’m going to kick the crap out of them.”
