More than 40 Florida Coastal School of Law graduates gathered Wednesday evening at Bistro Aix in San Marco, making the school’s first alumni social of the year an overwhelming success.
The socials, an integral part of the Alumni Association’s 2008 community outreach campaign, provide grads with a chance to catch up, learn more about the school and network.
“The Coastal Law Alumni, from our charter class to even our 2007 graduates, are an amazingly tight-knit group,” said Margaret Dees, the school’s director of institutional advancement. “They enjoy each other’s company, they know how to network and they appreciate being able to share their experiences.”
Dees said five more monthly alumni socials are already in the works at these dates and locations: Feb. 21 at Maggiano’s; March 13 at the Riverdale Inn; April 24 at Twisted Martini; May 22 at TBA; and June 19 at the Florida Bar Annual Meeting reception in Boca Raton.
