Jacksonville Economic Development Commission Executive Ron Barton (left) presented the Klechak Award to Bob Rhodes, chair of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission, last week at the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Award Dinner. The award is named after Dr. Lew Klechak (right), the first recipient of the award that is given to an individual who is an “outstanding advocate and supporter of Downtown issues,” said Barton. Previous recipients also include Ron Weaver, Audrey Moran, Frank Nero, Elaine Brown, Jim Citrano and John Welch.
