The Florida Association of Realtors’ 2008 Mid-Winter Business Meetings will be January 23-27 at the Renaissance Resort in Orlando.
FAR committee meetings and special events take place throughout the week.
The installation of the 2008 officers will be on Saturday, Jan. 26. Also being introduced at the Inaugural Banquet will be the District Vice Presidents and the presidents of the various institutes, societies and councils.
A full schedule of education programs starts with a Transnational Referral Certification Course on the opening morning at 9 a.m. and there’s at least one session each day.
In addition to the NAR installations, other organizations will introduce their leaderships including the Florida CCIM Chapter dinner on Jan. 24 and the Florida Women’s Council of Realtors, also on Jan. 24.
There will be numerous networking occasions including the CRS “After Dark” banquet on Jan. 23 and the RPAC Jamboree on Jan. 25.
The 2009 office process also will be highlighted with a Candidate Announcement Forum on Jan. 25. Those running for offices will be invited to speak. The ‘09 slate will be elected during the September board meeting.
