Ron Philo’s School of Golf, which parted company with Amelia Island Plantation earlier this year, has a new home at Osprey Cove, the LandMar development near St. Mary’s, Ga.
The school was started in 1992 by Ron Philo and his son, Ron Jr. and also has locations in New York and Vermont in addition to its new location.
Laura Diaz, a touring LPGA professional and Philo Sr.’s daughter, will serve as a consultant.
The Philos are originally from upstate New York and moved south when Ron Jr. attended Florida State. They maintain golf schools in the north.
