Jacksonville attorney Jake Schickel and Eugene Pettis and David Rothman — all Florida Bar Board of Governors members — have been elected to the Executive Committee for the 2008-09 Bar year.
The board at its May meeting picked its three members for the panel, which acts for the board between its every-other-month meetings.
They will join automatic committee members Bar President Jay White, President-elect Jesse Diner, Budget Committee Chair Gwynne Young, Communications Committee Chair Ray Abadin, Young Lawyers Division President Jewel White Cole, Legislation Committee Chair Greg Coleman, and board members Mayanne Downs and David Prather. The latter two are White’s appointees to the committee.
