Students of the law never stop learning and the education continued Wednesday for members of the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Division.

The Young Lawyers Division took a tour of the Downtown Jacksonville legal community with stops at City Hall and Duval County and Federal Courthouses and wrapped up the day with an informal happy hour at The Carling.

“We want to create an atmosphere where lawyers know each other on a personal level as well as a professional level,” said Lee Wedekind III, secretary of the Division’s board of governors.

The Division is made up of area lawyers 35 years or younger, or who have been practicing less than five years. The division provides mentoring for young lawyers, and civic and social opportunities.
