Dozens of Jacksonville-area attorneys made the trip to Boca Raton last week for the annual Florida Bar meetings at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. In addition to the many meetings, seminars, continuing legal education classes, golf, tennis, awards and recognitions and receptions, the meeting also included the swearing-in of new Bar President Jay White. From Fort Lauderdale, White succeeds Frank Angones of Miami.

Locally, Jake Schickel and Grier Wells were also sworn in for another term as members of the Bar’s Board of Governors.
