The Sulzbacher Center recently held its second annual “Walk a Mile in Their Shoes” fundraiser. Over 300 people from various walks of life participated in the walk through the streets if Downtown. Overall, the walk — which began and ended at The Sulzbacher Center — generated over $43,000 to help fund the center’s programs for homeless men, women and children. The band from Bishop John J. Snyder High led the walk while the drum line from the University of North Florida greeted walkers at the end.
