Audrey Moran (left), president and CEO of The Sulzbacher Center, accepted a check for $2,000 Wednesday from the Jacksonville Section of the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). The check was presented by Paul Crawford, deputy executive director of the Jacksonville Economic Development Commission and president of the local ASLA section, and ASLA member Carol Worsham from HDR Engineering. The funds were raised through a holiday party the local architects hold each year. Crawford said the group’s next philanthropic effort will be a golf tournament next month to raise funds to provide scholarships to landscape architecture students.
