Artist Karen Rasmussen pulled out her palette and brushes Monday morning to contribute to the City’s Special Events Department’s latest project. The “Holiday Windows,” at a dozen street-level locations between the Landing and City Hall, will be unveiled Friday at 5:30 p.m. Most are displays inside the buildings, but Rasmussen was painting the outside of a couple of the windows at Downtown Vision, Inc.’s office at the corner of Hogan and Adams streets. “We have such a great corner, we decided to do something a little different, said Amy Harrell, DVI director of district services. The window’s theme is “A Holiday Vision of Downtown” and it includes a schedule of events from Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day.
