Jacksonville University Men’s Basketball Coach Cliff Warren and JU Athletic Director Alan Verlander helped tip off the school’s men’s and women’s basketball season ticket campaign Wednesday in the Everbank Arena Club at the Arena. Over 60 passionate JU community members are a part of the ticket drive with a goal to sell 1,000 season tickets for the 2008–09 season. A season ticket includes both the men’s and women’s games, with the majority of men’s games played at the Arena. “We’re going to need support from the corporate community, but I’m optimistic about the goal and the season,” said Verlander.
