Sen. Bob Graham and Dr. Quinton White of Jacksonville University were two of the speakers during the Jacksonville Community Council’s annual meeting Wednesday at the Hyatt. Graham was keynote speaker and discussed the importance of the community becoming involved in civic activities while White, 2008–09 JCCI Board President, spoke of what’s to come for the organization in the year ahead. “We need more people participating instead of watching from the sidelines,” said Graham to the over 100 attendees.
