Business owners who want a classroom, student research or campus area at Jacksonville University can now do so – for a price.

A three-year, $100,000 per year partnership with the university can get you just that.

If the price doesn’t fit your budget, there are other options with the new JU Corporate Partnership Program.

“We put it together to encourage investment in JU from the local business community,” said David Stimpson, corporate relations director at JU.

The partnership has a list of perks for businesses. The funding options start at $5,000 per year and end at over $100,000 per year with benefits ranging from special briefings with faculty members on matters important for your company to a customizable recognition day on campus.

“We’ve been pleasantly surprised at the amount of interest,” said Stimpson.

The money received from the partnership can be used for things like new scholarships for students, said Stimpson, with businesses also having the ability to choose certain tracks for their funds, such as a fine arts, education or nursing track.

“We’re trying to get students interested in staying in Jacksonville,” said Stimpson.
