Interior construction at the Peninsula condominium on the Southbank was completed about a month ago and resident owners have been moving in at a steady pace.
“We’re still putting the final touches on some exterior work like the fountains in the pedestrian walkway and some landscaping,” said Tammy Britton, director of project operations and marketing for Miami-based American Land Ventures, the developer of the project.
She also said the timing of the Peninsula was as close to perfect as it could be from a sales standpoint. All 234 units were under contract before the real estate adjustment began and now that the 38-story luxury condominium address is complete, more owners are moving in every day.
One of the most popular features for residents, Britton said, is the aptly-named “Apogee” club at the very top of the building, one of two club rooms available for residents. With its exhibition kitchen, private wine lockers, flat screen television and wraparound terrace on the tallest building on the Southbank, it offers one of the most spectacular views of the Downtown skyline.
