The Jacksonville Bar Association welcomed members, family and friends to a little patch of low country Saturday during its second annual “Jamboree and Low Country Boil.”
The location moved a little inland this year and attendees enjoyed food and fun down near the riverfront behind the office of Camerlengo & Brockwell on Cesery Boulevard. For the kids, there was face painting and balloon animals provided by Devin Wilkinson. An inflatable castle was also available for children to bounce around in. A kids buffet was also available featuring hot dogs and mac and cheese.
Adults dined on crawfish, shrimp, sausage, rice, potatoes, corn on the cob and corn bread. Catering was provided by San Marco Catering.
A horseshoe pit and badminton net was also ready for some friendly competition. Throughout the evening, The Impediments, a bluegrass band, provided some toe-tapping tunes for the event.
The “Jamboree and Low Country Boil” was sponsored by The Brown Firm, Camerlengo & Brockwell, Crowne Plaza, Harris, Guidi, Rosner, Dunlap, Rudolph; Hyatt Regency, The Jacksonville Bank, Jones & Associations, Legal Nurse Consultants, Legal Art Works, Linda Watson Consulting Services, Oasis Legal Finance Co., San Marco Catering, Silver Chiropractic & Wellness, U.S. Legal Support and Vello.
