Fishing the 'Banks'

Jacksonville native Donald Tolbert catches bait so he can begin fishing from the Southbank Riverwalk. Tolbert says he fishes here three to four times a week. He says it’s normally just for fun but when he catches redfish or trout, it’s no longer just for fun, it’s for dinner. The St. Johns River is a hotspot for fishing because it contains many species of fish, both salt and freshwater.
