Construction of the new Duval County Courthouse is in the works. The Courthouse is expected to be substantially completed by summer 2012. The 800,000 square-foot building will have 520 employees. The former Federal Courthouse will also be renovated and have 380 employees. The auger cast foundation, as well as the vertical columns for the first floor, are both complete.
