Workers are now cutting and installing concrete, brick and tile as part of the Bay Street construction. Along with new lanes and traffic lights, the project includes refurbishing and sprucing up the sidewalks along both sides of Bay Street. This will create a cleaner and more attractive look for business fronts and the Downtown area overall. The construction is supposed to be completed by the first home game of the Jaguars regular season. The project is part of phase II of the Bay Street Town Center project that began in 2004.
