New trail officially opens

Mayor John Peyton (center) was joined by City Council member Ray Holt (far right), members of the City’s Parks & Recreation Department and citizens as they cut the ribbon to the new multi-use trail at Cecil Field Conservation Corridor Wednesday. The new paved trail is 2.25 miles long and is part of what will eventually become 9.5 miles of trail.
