As the Jacksonville Bar Association looks to its future, it continues to consult its past.

The meeting of the JBA past presidents is a tool used by the association’s board of governors to evaluate programs and proposals as it strives to improve each year.

Let by new President Dan Bean at the University Club Aug. 17, the agenda included discussion of bylaw revisions, membership renewal, lawyer referral service, JBA Web site, mentoring program and professional symposium, which is scheduled for Thursday. The next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 15, 2010.
