The Atlantic Coast Line Railroad was an American railroad that existed between 1898 and 1967 before merging with Seaboard Coastline Railroad. The Prime Osborn Convention Center is home to one of the most original railcars from that time, ACL 1504. The railcar was a passenger engine in its early years and hauled 10-12 car trains at 70 to 80 mph. The only items to have been changed from the original are the tender trucks, pilot truck wheels and headlights.

The Osborn Center was originally the Jacksonville Terminal Co. Depot built in 1919, the same year as the 1504. The railcar spent much of its time pulling passenger trains in and out of this depot.
