The Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association got into the holiday spirit with their annual members-only end of the year party Tuesday at Bistro Aix.
Members were encouraged to bring gift cards to donate to local nonprofit Community Connections. More than 50 were collected during the event.
The event is one of only two members-only events the organization has each year and is a chance for members to get together and celebrate the year while looking ahead to the next.
“It’s always a great time,” said JWLA President-Elect Lindsay Tygart-Havice of Murphy & Anderson. “It’s something we all look forward to ... it changes venues each year, but this year (at Bistro Aix) is great.”
The next JWLA event is Jan. 13 with guest speaker Judith Equels, director of Law Office Management Assistance Service.
